microblading

level up your brow game

Microblading is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing that creates beautiful and natural eyebrows.

This technique is done by applying each hair stroke with a handheld microblade. This produces a very fine stroke that resembles real hair.

It’s perfect for people who have little to no hair or those who want to define, darken or reshape their eyebrows.

FAQ

  • Microblading is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing that creates natural, beautiful eyebrows. However, unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists apply each hairstroke with a handheld microblade. This produces a very fine line that resembles real hair. Each individual hairstroke is hand drawn by the artist and blended in with the client’s existing eyebrow hair. It’s perfect for people who have little to no hair or those who want to define, darken or reshape their eyebrows.

  • Microblading lasts 1 to 3 years for most people, before they usually need a touch up. This can vary depending on the clients skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for the cosmetic tattoo area.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. We revisit our plan during our consultation where we discussed your brow goals, brow references and desired brow style/shape. We then map the brows according to your facial structure with the golden Phi ratio of balanced proportion. Once you approve the brow shape and pigment color, the procedure takes about two and a half hours to three hours. This entire session takes a total of 3-3.5 hours.

  • The healing process can last anywhere from 7-10 days. During and after the procedure, temporary swelling, redness, and/or itching may occur. Eyebrows can look up to 40% darker and 10-15% thicker during the first 3-5 days of healing. Day 4-5 you may experience peeling or flaky skin, do not pick or pull as this can cause the procedure to heal patchy. Loss of pigment and change in intensity of color is possible if scabbing occurs. Day 10-14 your microblading will look like it has disappeared, this is completely normal, and the color will start to reappear after 2 weeks.

  • We require you to send us photos of your eyebrows via email PRIOR to booking to ensure you qualify for an appointment. This will be best mentioned/discussed during our virtual consultation. Previously tattooed and microbladed eyebrows must be nearly invisible. Scar tissue associated with previous tattooing/microblading or tattoo removal may affect pigment retention. Please email clear photos taken in natural daylight, and no filters please. We will need a portrait photo with a clean face and one of each eyebrow. All previous work will be considered a NEW appointment. We can only work over tattoos that are barely visible.
